Poker Strategy Post Flop
Tuesday, March 29th, 2011Improve my poker game?
I posted before stating how I found it hard to beat my friends and always seemed to call anywhere and he was lucky on the flop / turn / river. My strategy is pretty basic, I raise my hands over his alleged long time, knowing when to retire and play my position accordingly. However, I think that been gaining more and more because I started to mix my game up … sometimes raise their hands with nothing from any position … Slow play AA or KK, so I think it's best to do it in moderation. Any other suggestions?
Consider a list of responses the situation, like, do not bet against a couple at the table. Any pair in the pocket is better than A / K. Bet on a color, but not a right. With two suited cards in his pocket, and two the flop, there is almost a 50/50 chance of getting your flush on the turn, river.
